Founder and Mental Health Therapist, Laura Vega started the Traveling Turtle Store as a way for kids to build confidence, strengthen connections and instill a sense of adventure while fostering a growth mindset for life. Each turtle is handcrafted with care and loved by our customers. Our turtles contribute to the overall well-being of our clients by providing positive affirmations, encouragement and constant reminders that limitless adventures await, proudly displayed on each turtles shell. Our turtles enhance social and relationship building skills with the inclusion of Turtle Talk cards, promoting one on one conversations and meaningful connections with family and friends. Turtle Tips teach kids about coping skills and healthy habits while providing educational facts about sea turtles.
